Anyone Who Feels Unappreciated is At Risk

Have you ever noticed someone who seems to stay on the sidelines of everything never taking part in the fun?

Maybe you are a school teacher and observe both those who take charge in any situation and have no difficulty expressing their opinion....

Yet at the same time a classmate the same age is quiet, shy and possibly timid or afraid to interact with the crowd.

What about the husband who works very hard to earn a pay check to provide his wife and children's needs...
Pay the mortgage, electric and gas bills, telephone now days Internet Service...and if you travel for your work you may have no choice but have cell phones as well....

What about the housewife and mother who cleans house changes diapers, and follows her toddlers all day long protecting them from dangers such as electric sockets, the hot water heater hidden in the bottom kitchen cabinet.

Does she recognize the stress he endures all day to bring home a loaf of bread and at today's prices maybe some peanut butter to spread on it?

Well what happens when the body works till it is tattered yet has not earned enough to pay the bills and to eat healthy and to see a doctor when one gets a strep throat, or a dentist for a tooth ache.

What happens when  folks work hard yet cannot afford to raise their family in a safe neighborhood.

Such frustrations can drive many to desperate measures or make poor choices that they otherwise would have never considered.

As a child, I myself when brought to the Rex Mardi Gras Parade by my mother with my two younger brothers...observed something that not only shocked me but very much upset me.

I saw a very dirty homeless man who looked very very hungry as if he had not eaten for days or even a week...ask for a Lucky Dog.

No one would buy him a hot dog, the vendor was not one who had what is known as "Southern Hospitality".

He like no one else showed him compassion.

And while his head was turned this homeless man snitched a Lucky Dog for himself and the vendor whistled for a policeman who beat this poor hungry homeless man with his billy-club and arrested him....
placed him in a metal box and drove him off.

Very upsetting for me under ten years old to watch....and what did my mother say:  "That's what you'll get too if you break the law!"

Not all behind bars are hardened criminals, some simply lacked guidance, some had no fathers or their fathers were absent and some in spite of both mother and father present and active in their lives...

Like the student who in the classroom with other children who remained on the side lines because he was either pressed out by the others who did not like him...or

The one who is shy and lacks self esteem...you can find many of these in jails and prisons across our great United States of America who were unable to learn what they needed to know to earn and purchase a Lucky Dog of their own...

And you today can give these men such skills by financially supporting The Carpenters Friend.

All...Even Those Who Made Poor Choices That Landed Them In Prisons...Were Created With Abilities That All Of Us Need To Receive

Each and every human person was created by GOD with unique gifts that not one other received.

Yet many of these simply had not anyone to lead them, to teach them things that they can do instead of yelling at them about what they cannot.

The Carpenter's Friend uses innovative methods, not always the same...but we are very versatile to meet the unique needs and limitations of each male state prison and county/parish jail and use as many teaching techniques required before we find what works for each individual inmate in class.

Now that our great country has passed the Second Chance Act it is time to embrace this not as any ordinary goal single handily,

But rather join hands with us; lets collaborate as you donate your Tax Deductible Donations you provide text books, Teaching CDs & DVDs, tools, classroom supplies, salaries for the carpenter's William hires and trains to work in prison settings....  The Carpenter's Friend is an Educational 501(C)(3).

Our Federal EIN Number is: 27-3711526

Some People Go Through Life Feeling That They Had No Purpose or Talent and Therefore Were Expendable...

Some folks from their tiny childhood ever could do anything right.
Others could have been productive as a child or youth had they had another take interest and show them how.

Some could busy themselves creating their own tasks...painting porches...or cutting grass for Dad...
Others need to be taken by the hand and shown every step of how to do anything from brushing their own teeth to combing their own hair.

Some folks cannot learn from a book regardless how many hours of the best and patient instruction that could be offered at any cost.

Some can only hear the voice of The only True Good Shepherd who is not only Seated upon HIS Holy Throne above the clouds and blue...WHO Leads them with HIS Voice in the stillness of their hearts.

I grew up where my value was highest when not at home...but visiting the Mom's and Dad's of others who knew how to both teach with kindness and affection....who were never critical without purpose....

Whose homes I longed to be a permanent fixture in ....so that I could learn to be able to teach my own Mom and Dad.

GOD always in spite of my parents inabilities...gave me others to teach me what my parents knew not themselves.

However many who had difficulty learning by traditional means like me...
Never had the luxury of knowing The Only Triune GOD in the sky as I...
And therefore had no one to love them and guide them as I.

I always knew before I could stand on my own that this made me not better than anyone else...
But rather more responsible.

While some of those who had not the gift of loving neighbors and Boy and Girl Scout leaders...
Ended up in jails or even prisons stealing their bread because they were hungry and knew not how to be fed...

I being held to a much higher account by Almighty GOD because I knew HIM from the day I was born and they have met HIM not...

My husband and I have dedicated our lives together to teaching these men in jails and prisons
The Carpentry Trade that when released they can be role models in their communities and lead those who once wore their own shoes and these men will then never sing the blues but sing for joy that though they once were never needed...

Now they not only have ppurpose and can fit in regardless to situations they happen to stumble upon..
They know how to become the integral part that another may not be lost.

See William's site http://www.thecarpentersfriend.com/ call our write him through his contact page and ask him how your donations can make a difference...hiring and training carpentry teachers, providing tools, work benches, educational DVD's etc... to teach in a prison setting that when released. they will be no longer the burden that I was to some....but now contributors and assets to their communities.

Many of Those Who Are In Prison Today....

Many folks who find themselves in prisons today did not go through their entire lives dishonestly.

Many simply could not learn by the traditional school house teaching methods....

Not only could they not progress in their learning...

Their inability to learn made them out casts from their piers.

When a boy grows into a man without a friend, nor skills with which he can apply himself...
He not only has no hobbies, no friends....
No ability to find gainful employment.... What is for him?

These make up a group who almost always finds themselves in trouble...but this is a group who can be guided and directed.

They simply need more hands on personal teaching and mentoring...Most through their young years were only told what "they can't do" and never shown what they can in such a way they can understand.

http://thecarpentersfriend.com/  believes that many in jails and prisons whom society has forgotten, but their tax dollars house, clothe and feed them... can when taught a skill such as carpentry, can become law abiding tax paying contributors to their communities.

And most young men who seem to be in trouble often may only need a friend...a mentor.

Have You Ever Attended a Function of Any Kind Hoping To Find Others You Can Regularly Bless Only To Find....

We need not stay home in the blues regardless what kind of news has been presented to me or you...

We can choose lots of things and not let other's drab positions stifle our hearts from reaching out and reaching up!

When we choose to STRETCH CATCH AND FETCH.... not only will our bodies muscles be healthy and feel great...  http://stretchcatchandfetch.blogspot.com/

Our positive attitudes will inspire some...yet others will refuse to let you lift them out of their sour-puss mode that allows them to speak arrogantly justifying themselves...while using the same sentence to put you down...possibly get you ejected.

Remember those who waste time only complaining about those who are cheery givers not complainers....say nothing of the person they are complaining about but merely volumes about themselves.

Simply humbly let them say whatever they say holding your head high for soon and very soon not many days...
You the lowly humble ones will be lifted as your accusers condemn themselves...

For Our Lord Promises to snare the wicked with their own words and devices.

So keep on laughing and smiling using the vision of Jeremiah to see them in your morning cereal bowl for that is where Fakey Flakey Artificially Flavored Hypocrites belong...

They are certainly not part of or a chip off the rock who hung, bled and died upon the cross for all man kind.

Chaff in the wind my friends are here today blown away often before tomorrow...
The Joy of The Lord will never leave you...never think HE does not need you!

http://hisjoyraisesmedaily.blogspot.com/

No one is expendable, yet everyone must be bendable though straight and tall and not moved by stress nor nonconstructive criticism... No one need be gloomy that other's never need them...for realize when they think they are rejecting you...it is themselves they cut off with their own mouth!

Hallelujah!! Amen Amen Amen and Alleluia!

I have Always Been Concerned for Those With Extremely Large Numbers of FaceBook Friends Who Share Everything With Everyone

This week I saw on Facebook a picture taken of someone who was sleeping in a suitcase.  I also see daily so many who are so lonely...hungry for anyone to accept them as who they are.

So many are at risk because they in their hunger to have one good friend whom they can regularly be with....
Do fun things together...or simply hang out once in a while in the others home...listening to clean music enjoying a lemonade together on a hot and steamy afternoon.

However, since in today's fast society so many are so busy racing to their next whatever...Some really have schedules that they cannot control...

But many make schedules to appear that they are sooooooo  soo busy that others THINK that they are important!

If each one took the time to take regular walks in their neighborhood...with their own spouse, with a friend...or even alone...

If each one taking such a walk...asks Our Lord to place in their path that day...just one aching soul who simply needs to receive genuine smile or, kind words...

GOD always answers quickly this sort of prayer for me....its similar to The Prayer of Jabez who was depressed all his life that he had caused his mother great pain as he was born..for the name he was given was PAIN and this pain he bore until he to called out to GOD saying :

"Lord Bless me indeed,
 Enlarge my territory,
May your hand be upon me keep me from evil that I may not cause pain."

We cause pain in HIS poor little ones when we fail to give such a lonely one a genuine smile...
When we fail to say hello...or Good Morning and GOD Bless you!

When we deliberately on purpose take the time to meet and greet each along our daily paths or streets...
GOD will always reward us infinitely more than we can ask think dream or imagine...

And thus GOD expands your territory and mine just as HE did for Jabez...
As HE Blesses others through us...HE too will Bless you and I through them...for the one who is easy to over look is the one friend who will become our gem...the diamond in the rough...who The Lord needed to use us to polish up!

I will be looking for you along our daily walks hoping that my husband and I one day receive the opportunity to exchange Bright SonShiney Smiles with you!

Amen Amen and Alleluia!

Have You Ever Tried To Type A Story and Have Your Battery Konck Out On You Before You Were Done?

It happens to me every day,,hence why I have not written here since September 3, 2010...

But have no fear...I am determined to finish this one today....

Before the fizzle, and POP and this thing goes black & stops!!

All you & I really need is FAITH of a grain of mustard....

Or as in the case of my dear friend Kathy Mac...who with her very ear hubby Michael...

Live between two corn fields in Northern Georgia...

If one cam muster just a shaving of even a corny corn kernel worth of FAITH...

You can speak to that mountain our field of doubts and problems that only bring strife and stress...

The Lord never said for us to speak or talk about our mountains of problems & pain....

But speak to them to be gone in Jesus Name!!

Have you noticed this thing has not gone black & dark....
But Lord Oh Lord....You have kept me on...

Thank You Lord that you LIGHT & LOVE Shines Forth Upon and Through Me Tonight!

Batteries never included...Faith Drives All Good Things!

Amen Amen Amen & Alleluia!

EstherStephanada....Praying with & for you!
